Interested in our Mangroves ?

OUR PROJECT AND HARVEST TIMELINES:

We harvest our propagules in August and September of every year.

Our nursery mangroves are maintained for one full year while our staff and volunteers baby them and gets them ready for the real world. 

We do not plant mangroves older than one growing season to ensure their success. Nor do we condone any type of long term art installation with mangrove seedlings.

If you are interested in our propagules, we typically need to know before March or April of the harvest year as we only harvest the exact amount of propagules that we have commitments for.

For Example:
If you need mangroves for end of 2012, we need to harvest Aug 2011.

We would be delighted to serve as consultants on your mangrove projects, feel free to reach out to us, even if you are not purchasing mangroves from us. 

Our goal is to ensure the best protocols so that the mangrove seedlings proper in their new habitat.
